OUR TRAILS
Through our partnerships with organizations such as the Legacy Parks Foundation and the Community Reuse Organization of East Tennessee, the CVTA is fortunate enough to be the official trail stewards for various trails and trail systems in the greater City of Oak Ridge, Roane County and Anderson County regions of East Tennessee.
Haw Ridge Park
Haw Ridge Park, situated on a scenic peninsula along the Clinch River between Knoxville and Oak Ridge, boasts over 33 miles of multi-use trails that accommodate trail runners, hikers and mountain bikers. The park is always bustling with outdoor activity from spring wildflower hikes, to mountain bike and trail running races.
Boulder & Sinkhole Trails
Located in west Oak Ridge, the Boulder and Sinkhole trails make up approximately 3 miles of multi-use singletrack that connect with Big Oak trail and perfectly complement the North Boundary Greenway System, which is popular hiking, biking, and running destination. These trails extend from Wisconsin Avenue near its intersection with Whippoorwill Drive to Big Oak Trail, which in turn extends to a Department of Energy gravel road that intersects with Oak Ridge Turnpike.
