For over 25 years the Hill of Truth Festival (HOT) has been known around the region as a 12 hour party in the woods on mountain bikes. Clinch Valley Trail Alliance (CVTA) is excited to announce the date for the 2025 12 Hours of the Hill of Truth Mountain Bike Race and HOT Trot trail running race.

 

​We'll be sharing more details mid-2025 but in the meantime mark your calendar for the most fun you can have at Haw Ridge Park on two feet or two wheels!

Free primitive camping will be open on Friday, October 3 and Saturday, October 4.

 

NEW FOR 2025 - Saturday will start at 7 AM EST for racer check-in and the HOT Trot trail running race will kick off at 8 AM EST. The HOT Trot trail running race is open to runners, walkers with and without dogs, and will get the day started off on the right foot. As usual the 12 Hours of the Hill of Truth mountain bike race will kick off at 9 AM EST and go until 9 PM EST. We're looking forward to a fun-filled weekend with friends who love and enjoy Haw Ridge and want to help support CVTA's efforts to continue maintenance and improvements several unsustainable trails impacted by erosion.
